As the colder weather arrives, we want to ensure all students stay safe and comfortable during outdoor recess. At FMES, students will go outside as long as the temperature or wind chill is 20°F or higher. Students may play in the snow only if they are wearing boots; those with regular shoes will need to stay on the blacktop. Please be sure your child comes to school dressed for winter weather—coats, hats, and gloves are essential to staying warm. |

Erin's Law
Families will soon receive a letter regarding upcoming child abuse prevention lessons, tentatively on Friday, February 27, that will be presented to students as part of Ohio’s Erin’s Law requirements. These age-appropriate lessons are designed to help students learn about personal safety, recognizing trusted adults, and how to seek help if needed. Our school counselors and administrators will be delivering the lessons using materials approved and promoted by the State of Ohio.
