Preschool: Canton Local Schools offers preschool education for those students who meet eligibility requirements. The Wildcat preschool program has received a Five-Star Step Up to Quality Award from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). This is the highest rating a preschool can receive.
The Wildcat Preschool program serves children who live in the Canton Local District. All three and four-year-old children with and without developmental delays are eligible, with enrollment priority given to four-year-old children and those with identified disabilities. Tuition is based on income eligibility and is often at no cost to parents.
Kindergarten: Children who will be 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2024, can attend kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year! Children must live in the district to enroll.* Register at tinyurl.com/Newstudent24-25.
Current pre-k students attending the Wildcat Preschool do not need to re-register for kindergarten.
If you are a Parent or Guardian in our student information system, you should have received an email with information to log into the Home Access Center (HAC) for your student. This information allows the guardian to create a password to link with their email and gain access to their student's grades.
