Drop Off & Pick Up

Welcome to Faircrest Memorial Elementary School!

Below we have outlined the process for arrival and dismissal. Please take the time to read it carefully. We strongly encourage all children to ride the bus (if available). This year we are dismissing all students during the same time frame, and you might find it more convenient to use bus transportation rather than wait in line for your child.

Please remember that you MUST send a note with your child whenever you change the way they will arrive home. If you have any questions, please call the office at 330-484-8020.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedure

Car Riders

Car riders will use the WEST driveway (closest to the park) to enter and exit FMES property.  Follow the arrows. Students should be able to get in and out of seatbelts and car seats independently.

Arrival:

7:50a  Staff will supervise students entering the building for early arrival.    

Students will wait in the gym until 8:20a, with staff supervision, before being dismissed for breakfast.

8:35a  Tardy bell rings.  All students should be in their classrooms by this time.

Dismissal:

3:00p  Once parents arrive, staff members will supervise students exiting the building.
 

Bus Riders

Buses will use the EAST driveway (closest CSHS) to enter and exit FMES. 

Arrival:

8:00a  Early buses will arrive. Students will proceed into the building with staff supervision.

Students will wait in the gym until 8:20, with staff supervision, before being dismissed for breakfast.

8:20a  All buses will arrive.  Students will proceed into the building with staff supervision.

Dismissal:

3:00p  The first wave of bus riders (numbers) will be called to board buses. 

3:07p  The second wave of bus riders (numbers) will be called to board buses.

We are using two different exit points that will be monitored by staff.  Staff will also supervise students getting off and on the buses.
